RICHARD BALKCOMMrs. White, 99, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born and reared in Neshoba County where she made her home most of her life. Mrs. White was a member of Hope United Methodist Church. She retired as a public school teacher in Neshoba County. Survivors include her daughter, Lucinda (Maurice) Smith of Brookhaven; grandsons, Shane (Tabitha) Dozier and Brent (Lynn) Dozier and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny White; parents, Roy and Louie Chaney; son-in-law, Rayburn Dozier; sister, Luceil Frickie and brothers, Morris, A.J. and Leroy Chaney.Pallbearers were James Chaney, Danny Thompson, Johnny Hester, Don Perry, George Sikes, Hughey Duncan, Jerry White and Kyle Thompson.
