BRIAN MCDONALD Mr. McDonald, 85, of Preston, MS, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.He was born and reared in Kemper County but made his home in Detroit , Michigan for a number of years before returning to Kemper County where he lived until his death.   He was a farmer, electrician, school bus driver and had worked in law enforcement.  Mr. McDonald was a member of Coye Assembly of God Church in Preston and a member of Summerville Masonic Lodge.Survivors include his son, G. Mitchell (Flora) McDonald and grandson, Clifton (Maggie) McDonald, all of Preston; granddaughter, Lynn (Brent) Thompson of Braxton; great-granddaughters, Lexi McDonald, Locklyn Thompson; great-grandson, Colin McDonald; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Wright McDonald; daughter, Diane McDonald; sister, Corine Warren and brothers, Champ, Lester, J. D., Cook and Benford McDonald. Pallbearers were Barry Wright, Lee McDonald, Clifton McDonald, Terry McDonald, Johnny Lee and Allen McDonald.  Honorary pallbearers were Floyd McDonald and Jimmy McDonald.
