FRED BRITTON Miss Jonne, 90, of Williamsville, died May 31, 2013 at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia. Throughout the time she lived in Neshoba County, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Church was an important part of her life, and worship continued by way of the TV ministry after her move to the nursing home. Born April 21, 1923, she was one of eight children in the family of Amzie and Nannie Mae Williams of Williamsville, owners of Williams Brothers. She graduated from The University of Mississippi and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Mrs. Mabus married the late Ardyce Atlee Mabus and the couple raised their five children in the farming community of Macel, Mississippi. After his death she returned to Philadelphia and began working at Williams Brothers. Miss Jonne could be found daily in the shoe department where she sold many pairs of SAS shoes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Cooper Williams and her sisters, Katherine Williams Trapp and Yvette Williams Roberson. Survivors include her brother, Charles "Bud" Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Jane Williams Lang of Pass Christian, Peggy Williams Dees of Williamsville, and Gloria Williams Emmons of Meridian. Her children are David Mabus and his wife, Susan of Charleston, Sissy Mabus of Brandon, Jimmy Mabus and his wife, Susan of Macel, Lynda Phillips of Philadelphia, and Peggy Ann Crowe and her husband, Jerry of Madden. Grandchildren are Clint Mabus, Atley Mabus, Sara Betts Mabus, Jack Mabus, Katelyn Dyer, Laura Baker Mabus, Leigh Cochran, Jamie Rowland, Matt Mabus, Emily Fletcher, Bryce Phillips, Liz Phillips, Kristen Vance, David Crowe, Jonathan Crowe and Chad Crowe. Great-grandchildren are Lila Ray Mabus, Amanda Lane Deweese, Anna Hart Kauffman, Karson Dyre, Braxton Wells, Amzie Cochran, Stiles Rowland, Suzanna Williams Rowland, Maze Fletcher, Paige Phillips, Sydney Graft, Ansley Graft, Clay Vance, Drew Vance, Cross Crowe, Gracie Crowe, Addie Crowe, Jax Crowe, and Cullom Crowe. Pallbearers are grandsons, Matt Mabus, Clint Mabus, Atley Mabus, Jack Mabus, Bryce Phillips, David Crowe, Jonathan Crowe, and Chad Crowe.
