MIKE SKINNER Mr. Shepherd, 90, of Lake Charles, LA, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He faithfully served our country in the United States Air Force during World War II and Korea, and retired in Lake Charles following his military career.  Mr. Shepherd later worked, and retired, as a purchasing agent for the City of Lake Charles. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Thelma Gaspard Shepherd of Lake Charles, LA; four children, Lorraine LeBleu and husband, Ervin, Jr., of Lake Charles, LA, Thomas Allan Shepherd and wife, Pam of Lake Charles, LA, Nannette Ardoin and husband, Rod of Oklahoma and Blaine Shepherd and wife, Chanda of Lake Charles, LA; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Beatrice Winstead of Olive Branch, Mary Allen of Walnut Grove and Dorothy Leopard of Memphis, TN; and a special niece, Ann Ethridge of Carthage. Pallbearers are Cody LeBleu, Blaine Shephard, Tommy Shepherd, Jacob Shepherd, Brody Laughlin and Trevor Laughlin.
