RANDY CALDWELL Mr. Trosper, 62, of Preston, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native of Louisville and a longtime resident of the Preston community in Kemper County.  He was a retired logger.  Mr. Trosper was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Higginbotham Trosper of Preston; brother, Sam Trosper of Louisville; sister, Mary Wylie of Eupora; a number of nieces, nephews and their families; aunts, Ida Warren of DeKalb, Margaret Elmore of Mobile, AL, Barbara Shepard of Tallahassee, FL, and Ludie Bea Trosper of Louisville; uncle, Robert Trosper of Bingen, WA; and numerous cousins and friends. Mr. Trosper was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lois Trosper and an infant sister, Joann Trosper.Pallbearers were Michelle Dukes, Lance Higginbotham, Stacy Higginbotham, Brad Trosper, Steve Wylie and Sam Trosper.  In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
