BILLY HENRY  Mr. King, 89, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of the Ebenezer community in Leake County and a longtime resident of Philadelphia.  He retired from Daly Oil Co. where he worked as service station manager.  Mr. King was a member of New County Line Baptist Church.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal recipient.  He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his daughters, Linda McCullough and Kathleen Sistrunk both of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Pam Ward, Allison McCullough, Robbie Todd and Richie Sistrunk; great-grandchildren, Brady Sistrunk, Trent Cole, Joel Sistrunk, Will Cole, Olivia McCullough and Jackson Ward; and sister, Carol Sue Palmer of Edinburg. Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Dee King; daughter, Evelyn Ann King; parents, Johnny and Dollie King; sisters, Nettie White, Maudie Shoemaker, Joyce Franklin, and Janell Myers; and brothers, Troy King and Billy Ray King.
