STEVE WINSTEAD Mr. Peebles, 96, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Meridian. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Co.  Mr. Peebles was a member of Southside United Methodist Church.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during WWII. Survivors include his daughter, Janice Winstead of Enterprise; son, Norris Peebles of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Otezell Adams of Meridian, Alma Eakes of Florida, Velma “Bill” Morris of Philadelphia and Zelma “Tut” Henley of Philadelphia; brothers, Henry Ford Peebles of Philadelphia and Jackie Peebles of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
