FRED BRITTON Mrs. Barham, 96, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a native of Enterprise, MS. Her family moved to Meridian during World War II and while in Meridian she worked for BellSouth. After her marriage to Lonnie Barham in the early 50’s, she moved to Philadelphia where she resided the remainder of her life. She worked until her retirement at Bank of Philadelphia in customer service. Mrs. Barham was a member of First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia. She was very active in the community and was a member of Philadelphia B & PW Club. Mrs. Barham was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie; daughter, Paula Sue; and son, Stan. Survivors include a sister, Bettye Rose Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Nell Stanley of Madison; several nieces, nephews and their families; and longtime friend, Leonard Duncan and his family.Pallbearers were Stanley Salter, Guy Nowell, Duncan Brewer, Chris Duncan, James Lee and Kent Winstead.
