KEITH HALL Mrs. Lula Mae Eakes, 84, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Neshoba County General Hospital. She was a native of the Moscow community in Kemper County and a longtime resident of Philadelphia, MS. She was retired from Wells-Lamont and was a member of First Church of God in Philadelphia. Survivors include her sons, Jim Eakes and his wife, Cynthia, Richard Eakes and his wife, Aletha and Earnest “Dink" Eakes and his wife, Penny, all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Michele Eakes, Jackie Miller, Heather McLain, Theresa Schmidt, Jessica Knight and Mandy Clearman; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Eakes in 1985; brothers, Robert Lang, Leo Hall, Jessie Hall and Jimmy Hall.Pallbearers were Clint Knight, Ryan Miller, Derrell Fulton, Justin Clearman, Joey Price and Richard Eakes.
