JERRY WAYNE DILLONMrs. Betrude Matthews Sistrunk, 88, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Neshoba County General Hospital.She was a native and longtime resident of the Dixon community of Neshoba County. Mrs. Sistrunk was a member of Philadelphia Church of God where she had served as a former Sunday school teacher and was active in fundraising events. She had formerly attended Bailey Avenue Church of God in Jackson. She was known for her status as a prayer warrior.Survivors include her children: Harlon Sistrunk (Annette) of Madison, MS, Marty Sistrunk (Darlene), Anita Ladd (Steve) and Patsy Ladd (Martie), all of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Kevin Sistrunk, Jason Sistrunk, Christy (Don) Barrett, Angie (Brett) Coward, Nathan (Laura) Sistrunk, Kim Edwards, Shanna Ladd, Andy (Emily) Ladd and Ryan Ladd; great-grandchildren, Grace Sistrunk, Mallory Madison, Taylor Barrett Spratt, John Rylee Barrett, Lily Carsyn Barrett, Lauren Coward, Landon Coward, Anna Sistrunk, Talbott Sistrunk, Kirkland Sistrunk, Kaylie Edwards, Jarrod Edwards and Haven Clemons; brother, Henry C. Matthews (Wanda) of Philadelphia, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Mrs. Sistrunk was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Burl Sistrunk; brothers, Arvis Matthews, Teasley Matthews and R.B. Matthews; sisters, Ruth Matthews, Selma Matthews, Thelma Matthews and Mae Jones.Pallbearers were Kevin Sistrunk, Jason Sistrunk, Nathan Sistrunk, Andy Ladd, Ryan Ladd, Don Barrett, Brett Coward and Jarrod Edwards.
