CHESTER ESTESREV. CHRIS SLEDGE Mrs. Guthrie, 90, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She was a full-time mother and wife who cherished her hobbies of cooking, gardening and her beautiful flowers. Survivors include her children, Tommy (Louise) Smith of Philadelphia, Joeann (Carl) Killebrew of Katy, Texas, Yvette (Horace) Williams of Philadelphia, Mary (Sonny) Quinn and Rachael (Gary) Tucker, all of Brandon, Larry (Betty) Smith of Philadelphia, Linda (Gene) Chenault of Kosciusko, Margaret (Steve) Peebles and Scottie (Robin) Smith, all of Philadelphia; stepdaughter, Shirley Belk and stepson, Toris (Helen) Guthrie, all of Philadelphia; 30 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Winnie Pearl Eakes and Maxine Eakes Alford, both of Philadelphia. Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver Frank Smith and Sherman Guthrie; son, Willie Frank Smith; parents, Arden J. and Lena Mowdy Smith; brothers, Kenneth Smith and Rufus Smith; sisters, Lucille Coats and Myrtle Coats.
