She was born in Newton County but was raised and made her home in Neshoba County. She was an accountant with the Internal Revenue Service for several years before working for Molpus Lumber Company in Philadelphia. Mrs. Williamson was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include two sons, John (Kay) Steele of Philadelphia and J. C. “Jamie” Williamson, Jr. of Irving, Texas; two grandchildren, Amy Steele and Dr. Anthony Steele; one great-grandchild, Charleigh Steele; sisters, Bobbye Gardner of Meridian and Jeanetta Rigdon of House; one brother, Billy Houston of Newton and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. “Charlie” Williamson and one daughter, Kay Frances Williamson.Pallbearers were John Steele, Jamie Williamson, Dr. Anthony Steele, J. C. Gardner and Larry Lillis.
