KELLY TINGLE Mr. Williams, 82, of Union, MS , died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the County Line community.  He worked in the auto parts business for 45 years at NAPA stores in Union and Philadelphia.  He most recently worked in the produce department at Piggly Wiggly in Collinsville with his son, Joe.  Mr. Williams was a member of County Line Baptist Church.  He was a former member (25 years) of the County Line Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a member of Woodmen of the World.  Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Martha Jane Mowdy Williams of Union; children, Dennis (Rhonda) Williams and Sheila (Roger) Smith, all of Union; Pam (Sidney) Thompson of Little Rock, AR, Joe (Jill) Williams of Collinsville and Robin (Tammy) Williams of Union; grandchildren, Justin Williams, Seth Gilliand, Adam Gilliand, Daniel Smith, Leanna Smith, Matt Williams, Haley Williams, Nathan Williams, Michael Williams, Doug and Laura Thompson, Kristin and Zach Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Jackson Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Royson Thompson, Emma Thompson, Cooper Reynolds and Brady Reynolds; sisters, Doris Mott of Birmingham, AL and Elizabeth (Dale) Owens of Brandon; brother, Edward (Janie) Williams of Byram and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Virgie Williams; brother, Rev. Earl Williams; sisters, Helen Gray, Josie Wright and Madlin Boozer.Pallbearers were Doug Thompson, Justin Williams, Zach Reynolds, Adam Gilliand, Daniel Smith, Matt Williams, Nathan Williams, Michael Williams and Seth Gilliand.
