CHRIS VOWELL Mr. Alex "Gator" Norris, Sr., 64, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 24, 2012. He was a native of Madden and reared in Kilmichael where he graduated from Big Black High School. He was also a graduate of Holmes Junior College. Mr. Norris was employed by Yates Construction Company.Survivors include his daughters, Alexia Diane Yoo (Woo Sun) of Havre de Grace, MD and Carla Renee Norris of Philadelphia; son, Alex “Bubba” Norris, Jr. (Amber) of Philadelphia; brother, Rickey Lane Norris of Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Nadine Turnage Norris; and sister, Wanda Jo Dalton. Pallbearers were Brent Stanford, Danny Rosamond, Chip Daniels, David Turk, Butch Smith and Donnie McCool.
