Mr. Barrett was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and made his home in the Tucker and Beatline communities. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was an auto mechanic by trade.Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his father, Louis Ray Barrett.Survivors include his daughter, Alyssa Grace Barrett; sons, Cody Wade Barrett and Jeremie Scott Barrett all of Philadelphia; mother, Martha Taye Barrett of Philadelphia; sisters, Linda Faye Tank (Jerome), Glinda "Kookie" Bowles, and Paulia Chunn  (Donald) all of Philadelphia; brothers, Jimmie Barrett of Nanih Waiya, Johnny Barrett (Kathy), James "Carrot" Barrett, and David Barrett all of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Tyrome Tank, Jermie Tank, Donnie Chunn, Jessie Chunn, Austin Barrett, Sean Jayroe, Mickey Conn and Jason Edens.
