LESLIE COURTNEY REV. LLOYD ADCOCKREV. ERIC SHARP Dalton Dewitt Harrison, 91, passed away December 5, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Harrison was born March 30, 1921 in Newton County to the late Luther and Lillian Harrison. He was a member of Macedonia Pentecostal Church. Mr. Harrison was a World War II veteran. He retired from Choctaw Indian Agency. He loved fishing and hunting and took much pleasure in spending time with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ezra, Eulis, Cecil, L.B., and sisters, Elena Adcock, Lora Estus McElhenney, and Jimmie Harris. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Salter Harrison; daughter, Martha Jane Smith (Glen) of Brandon; grandchildren, Brian Smith (Velda) of De Pere, Wisconsin, Jason Smith (Kaysey) of Brandon and one great-granddaughter, Valerie Melyn Smith of Brandon; special niece, Sara Fox of Philadelphia and several other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Allen Harrison, Mike Harrison, Barry Harrison, Brian Smith, Jason Smith, and Norman Adcock. The family would like to thank the staff of Quality Hospice and Sta-Home, Dr. Patrick Eakes, Dr. Todd Lawson, Rev. Leslie Courtney and the many friends and neighbors who have traveled this journey with us. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetic Association, or the Macedonia Pentecostal Church building fund.
