DUDLEY WINSTEADREV. DON COOK Mr. McPhail, 77, of Edinburg, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Edinburg community in Leake County.  He worked at Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia for a number of years and later retired from Walnut Grove Glove Factory.  Mr. McPhail was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia McPhail of Edinburg; son, Scotty McPhail (Tammy) of Sebastopol; and grandchildren, Taylor McPhail of Sebastopol, Jenna McPhail of Sebastopol and Josh “Boo” Cumberland (Pam) of Philadelphia. Mr. McPhail was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky McPhail, a grandchild, Anthony Savell and parents, Duke and Lena McPhail. Pallbearers were James McPhail, Danny Wilcher, Rusty Wilcher, Billy Wilcher, Harold Moore and Nubbin Copeland.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Oneal Wilcher, Guy Wilcher, Paul Moore, Paul Wilcher, Jonathan Tutor, Gaige Tutor, Jerry Wilcher and Ronnie Cumberland.
