MACK ALFORD Mr. Joseph Norman Schibetta was a native and longtime resident of Chalmette, Louisiana but moved to Neshoba County after Hurricane Katrina.  He was a retired sheet metal worker.  Mr. Scibetta was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Petty Scibetta of Philadelphia; sisters-in-law, Kay Broussard and Dot Petty, both of Philadelphia; nephew, Joe Broussard of Philadelphia; nieces, Lynn Haskins and Debbie Blevin, both of Meridian and Juanice Jones of Madison.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213 or your favorite charity.
