STEVE CRAFT INTERMENT:  TUCKER CEMETERY KEMPER COUNTY  Mrs. Gray, 87, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Infinity Hospice in Marion. She was a native of Meridian, MS but had been a longtime resident of the Vardaman community in Kemper County. Mrs. Gray was a member of Vardaman Baptist Church. She formerly attended Agape Fellowship Church in Meridian and Spanish Oak Baptist Church in Kemper County. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Alderman (James Henry) of Philadelphia, Sherry Mathews (Bob) of Meridian and Pam Harmon (Ken) of DeKalb; three grandchildren, Tony Johnson, Angela James (Shannon) and Dennis Alderman; four great-grandchildren, Austin James Alderman, Alyssa Lofton, Hunter James and Ashlyn James; one great-great-grandchild, Maddie Lofton; one brother, Charlie Locklear (Merle) of Meridian and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, A. W. (Wood) Gray; her daughter, Glenda Faye Gray; her parents, Dock and Lottie Locklear; a brother and two sisters.Pallbearers were George Oliver, James Henry Alderman, Tony Johnson, Hunter James, Dennis Alderman, Austin Alderman, Bob Mathews and Charlie Locklear.
