JAMES YOUNGINTERMENT:  ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY Mrs. Herrington, 87, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Herrington worked for many years as a ward clerk and nurse assistant at Laird Hospital in Union, MS. Mrs. Herrington was an amazing, loving mother and grandmother.  She spent her life in service of others. Mrs. Herrington loved the Lord and was a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman. Survivors include her children, Linda Stembridge of Montgomery, AL, Anita Griffin (Charlie) of Boone, NC, Dotty Beemon (Tim) of Meridian, Donna Harrison of Bailey, Bill Herrington (Jami) of Decatur and Dena Bishop (Stanley) of House; grandchildren: Jay Stembridge, Amanda Montgomery, Marty Griffin, Courtney Taylor, Jill Basham, Elizabeth Williams, Andy Harrison, Kim Pickett, Krissy Lewis, Bubba Holmes, Katie Holmes, Brandon Holmes, Morgan Herrington, Eli Herrington, Laura Bishop, Lindsay Bishop and Emily Bishop; great-grandchildren: Megan and Katie Stembridge, Colby and Macy Montgomery, Rachael, Megan and Katie Griffin, Grace Taylor, Walker and Abigail Basham, Kasey, Savannah and Cadence Harrison, Jackson Atwood, Ethan, Alyssa and Gavin Pickett, Jud Lewis and numerous other family members and her beloved pet, Otis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Herrington; brothers, Marzine and Carlton Smith; her grandson, Tyler Herrington; sons-in-law, Jim Stembridge and Wesley Harrison.
