MACK ALFORD Robin Clark Thomas, 54, of Philadelphia, MS, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at her home in Neshoba County after a lengthy illness. A Graveside funeral service and burial will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in Cedarlawn Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rev. Mack Alford will officiate. Robin was employed by the Neshoba County Hospital as a registered nurse at the time of her illness. She enjoyed working in the medical field and had previously been a nurse’s aide, an EMT, and worked in Home Health. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Robin was born on June 17, 1958, in Pennsylvania. She attended Neshoba Central High School and East Central Community College. She received her nursing degree at Meridian Junior College. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lee Clark. Survivors include her husband, James P. “Jimmy” Thomas; a son, John Abe Thomas, and a daughter, Jamie Lee Thomas; her mother, Lauretta Clark; two sisters, Laura C. Marcangeli, and Judy C. Mason and husband, James Paul Mason all of Philadelphia; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Sid Williams, Tommy Williams, Scott Thomas, John Thomas, Steve Thomas, and James Paul Mason.
