She was a native of Gardendale, Alabama where she graduated from Gardendale High School. She has been a resident of Philadelphia for the past year.  She had worked in the restaurant-food service industry.  Miss Lindsay was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and attended First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia while here with her family. Survivors include her parents, Bruce and Janice Lindsay of Philadelphia; sisters, Stephanie Dabbs of Gardendale, Alabama and Cori Brown of Hoover, Alabama; maternal grandparents, Max and Virginia West of Philadelphia; paternal grandmother, Ellen J. Lindsay of Gardendale, Alabama and an extended family of numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and their families. Miss Lindsay was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Thomas B. Lindsay.
