LAWRENCE POOL Mrs. McLain, 70, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her home. She was a native of Rankin County and had been a resident of the Sandtown community in Neshoba County for the past 30 years.  She was a former nursing home and hospital aide.  Mrs. McLain was Baptist by faith.  She was a member of the American Legion Post 112 Ladies Auxiliary in Jackson.Survivors include her husband of 40 years, J. M. McLain of Philadelphia; sons, Edward Toombs of Richland and Larry Toombs of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Sheila Smith of Union; brothers, J.D. Bell and Buford Bell both of Richland and James Bell of Panama City, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. McLain was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Marcella Bell; sister, Mary Cockren; and brothers, Dudley Bell and Bob Bell.
