BENNY ALFORDBRO. HANK PILGRIM Mr. John Pilgrim, 71, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in DeKalb. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Calico community in Kemper County.  He had worked for many years in produce and syrup sales.  Mr. Pilgrim was a member of Christian Life Apostolic Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathryne Pilgrim of DeKalb; sons, Tim Pilgrim and his wife, Tammy and Todd Pilgrim and his wife, Penny, all of Philadelphia; daughter, Tracey Warren and her husband, Charlie of DeKalb and brother, J. H. Pilgrim of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Johnathan Pilgrim, Allie Pilgrim, Dakotah  Pilgrim, Austin Warren, Cheyenne Pilgrim, Allen Warren and Wyatt Pilgrim; great-grandchildren, Kadence Pilgrim, Riley Aiden Pilgrim and  a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Estelle Pilgrim and numerous brothers and sisters.Pallbearers were Richard Warren, Jeffery Pilgrim, Johnathan Pilgrim, Jerry Pilgrim, Robbie Stovall, Daniel Pilgrim, Jackie McKee and Marty McKee.
