FRED BRITTON Mrs. Salter, 82, of Philadelphia, died Monday, May 28, 2012 at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was born and reared in Neshoba County and had made her home in Philadelphia for the past 65 years.  She was owner and operator of Jimmie’s Beauty Shop for many years.  Mrs. Salter was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Stanley Salter and his wife, Kay of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Whitney Vance and her husband, Brad of Brandon; grandson, Tate Salter of Philadelphia; and great-grandchildren, Tatum Salter, Tanner Salter, Jon Byars Salter, Barron Vance and Porter Vance. Mrs. Salter was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Salter; sister, Rivers Breazeale; and brother, Pete Mundy.Pallbearers will be Donnie Atkinson, Russ Turner, Sid Salter, Patrick Breazeale, David Vowell and Danny Hicks.
