EUGENE DOBBS Elizabeth Welch, 86, passed away May 20, 2012.  Mrs. Welch was born December 23, 1925 in Laurel Hill, Mississippi.  Her parents were Maud and Early Barnett. Mrs. Welch, a lifelong educator, taught students from Mississippi, to New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, and back to Mississippi.  Her students ranged from first grade to twelfth grade and every year was her “favorite class with the best students.”  She additionally served as Public Health Administrator for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.  Mrs. Welch is survived by her children Earl Jackson, Hope Schulz, and Anita Lossiah; her siblings: Irene Lewis, Hilda Knoche, Earlene Barnett, Tommie Speights, Mary Curry, and Lamar Barnett; ten (10) grandchildren: Lauren Jackson Lee, Diana Jackson O’Keeffe, Katherine Jackson, April Schulz Mann, Alan Schulz, Carmen Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Drew Johnson, Dylan Lossiah, and Jonah Lossiah; and four (4) great-grandchildren: Aiden Mann, Dominic Lee, Amelia Mann and Josslyn Gorny. The pallbearers are Alan Schulz, Drew Johnson, Adam Mann, Rob Lee, Dylan Lossiah, Jonah Lossiah and Johnny Gorny.
