BOBBY EVERETT Mr. Coats, 73, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mr. Coats was known as the “Glass Man” in Philadelphia and the surrounding area for 55 years. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Coats loved life and his family. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judy Watkins Coats of Philadelphia; children, Joey Coats (Patricia) of Collinsville, Pam Coats Cunningham (Don) of Union, James Coats (Vicki) of Philadelphia, Jeff Coats (Consuelo) of Philadelphia, and Jennifer Coats Maxwell (Joe) of Bowling Green ,OH; honorary children, Tommy Waddell of Philadelphia and Danny Pilgrim of Brunswick, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Coats, III, Griffin Coats, Austin Cunningham, Billy Joe Cunningham, Richard Coats (Amy), Rebecca Rogers, Casey Coats Sammons (Josh), Holly Coats, Logan Coats, Jerame Coats, Triston Coats, Zack Harper, Cameron Bennett, Candace Maxwell, Justin Maxwell, and Curtis Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Danyelle Cunningham, Devin Cunningham, Nicholas Vowell, and Marshall Coats; and brothers, Grady Coats (Lina) of Anniston, AL, and Benjie Coats (Reina) of Philadelphia. Mr. Coats was preceded in death by his mother, Audry Mae Dunn Coats; father, Ethel J. Coats; sister, Carrie Coats Sharp; and brothers,Tommy Coats and Carl Jr Coats. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Cunningham, Don Cunningham, Logan Coats, Jerame Coats, Zack Harper, Josh Sammons, Joe Maxwell, Ken Watkins and Cameron Bennett.
