MIKE SMITH  Mrs. Virginia Sims, 95, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Sims was a native of Memphis, TN and a longtime resident of Philadelphia.  She retired as a registered nurse from the Indian Hospital in Philadelphia.  Mrs. Sims was a member of Wess Chapel Baptist Church in Winston County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Sims in 1991. Survivors include her sisters, Florence Haynes, Louise Cunningham, Martha Peterson, Jessie Stovall and Evelyn Moser all of Memphis, TN; and several nieces, nephews and their families.
