CHRIS GULLY Mr. Claud Lamar Jones, 87, of Preston, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at his residence. He was a resident of the Preston community of Kemper County. He was retired from Kemper County as a heavy equipment operator.  Mr. Jones was a veteran of World War II.    He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Jewel Jones and his sons, Dwight Jones and James Jones. Pallbearers were Clay Hunnicutt, J. D. Teer, Virgil Clark, Britt Gully, Greg Wilson and John Spears.
