WAYNE HILL Mrs. Desma Hardy Kilpatrick, 96, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She retired as a dorm mother at East Central Community College in Decatur. Mrs. Kilpatrick was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church. She was a past member of the Futura Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Kilpatrick; grandchild, Kathy Patrice Kilpatrick; parents, Alford and Janie Hardy; sisters, Avis Lewis and Mildred Allen; brothers, Howard Hardy and Bill Hardy. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Kitchens and her husband, Allen of Vicksburg; two sons, Gerald Kilpatrick and his wife, Peggy of Germantown, TN and J. Max Kilpatrick and his wife, Kathy of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren, Allen Kitchens, Jr., Alicia Arseneau, Mistie Hawkins, Gerald Allen Kilpatrick, Jr., Jarret Kilpatrick, Kim Rea, Amy Taylor, and Jay Kilpatrick; one step-grandchild, Jarrod Bates; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Winnie Hardy of Burkburnett, TX and DeWitt Hardy of Philadelphia; and one sister, Carol Oliphant of Philadelphia.Pallbearers were Gerald Kilpatrick, Jr., Jay Kilpatrick, Jarret Kilpatrick, David Hawkins, Mark Taylor and Allen Kitchens, Jr.
