JAMES MADDOX Mr. Mike "Mikey" Smith, 42, of Philadelphia, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at his residence. He was a native and lifetime resident of the Good Hope Community in Neshoba County.  He formerly worked in construction as a welder.  Mike was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Hunter Smith and Michael Smith both of Hickory; daughter, Layla Smith of Hickory; children’s mother, Susie Clark of Hickory; parents, Richard & Eva Jean Smith of Philadelphia; brother, Dwight (Jan) Smith of Philadelphia; sisters, Debbie (Eddie) Jolly of Philadelphia and Melody (Joe) Jones of Philadelphia; nieces, Brooke Clay of Philadelphia, Lindsey Smith of Philadelphia, Tracy Blocker of Madison, and Evie Crocker of Philadelphia; and nephew, Spencer Harvey of Philadelphia. Pallbearers:  Eddie Smith, Ellis Fanning, Brian Fanning, Craig Clay, Kenny Belk, and Todd Jolly.
