He was a native and lifelong resident of the Mars Hill Community in Winston County.  He was retired from Wells-Lamont Glove Factory and was a farmer and cattle farmer.  Mr. Sisson was a member of Old Mars Hill Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brealon Sisson. Survivors include his wife, Nelda Sisson; daughter, Judy Wyatt and her husband, Jimmy; one grandson, Derek Wyatt; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Celena Wyatt; and sisters, Lydia Manning and Juanita Goldman all of Philadelphia. Pallbearers will be Derek Wyatt, Frankie Goldmon, Gene Goldmon, Tim Manning, Ted Manning and Charles Swain.
