Roy K. Kirkland

A private family memorial service for Roy K. Kirkland was held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Vowell, Rev. Jason Martin and Rev. Randall Dunaway officiating.   He was a native of Neshoba County and had resided in Philadelphia since his retirement.  He retired from Encon as an accountant.  Roy was Valedictorian of the Class of 1958 at East Neshoba School and he also graduated from East Central Community College and Mississippi State University.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Claire Kirkland.   Survivors include his brothers, Edward, David and James Kirkland; his sister, Shirley Martin and their families.
