CHRIS VOWELL Mr. Therrell, 68, of Philadelphia, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He was retired owner of NAPA Auto Parts stores in Philadelphia and Union. After retirement, he made many forms of custom leather products in his shop at home. Mr. Therrell was Catholic by faith. He was a former director of the Neshoba County Fair Board. He was a licensed United States Trotting Association starter where he served many years at the harness races at the fair. He was a founding member of Red Hills Horse Show Association. Mr. Therrell was preceded in death by his son, Matt Therrell in 1996 and his parents, Morris and Neri Therrell. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Geraldine Therrell of Philadelphia; daughter, Stacie Weir and her husband, William of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Alex Weir and Matt Weir both of Philadelphia; sister, Marlene Collins of Navasota, TX; brother, Charles Wayne Therrell of Sugar Tree, TN; two nieces and one nephew and their families.
