JOHN STEPHENS He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier.  Mr. Brantley was member of Ocobla Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII.  He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.   Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by his wife, Verdie Brantley; sister, Carolyn Crenshaw; and brothers, Edward Brantley and Bernard Brantley.   Survivors include his daughters, June Seale and her husband, Jack of Philadelphia and Jo Ann Anderson and her husband, George of Newport Beach, CA; sons, Jerry Brantley and his wife, Linda of Philadelphia, Andy Brantley and his wife, Judy of Cleveland and Stan Brantley and his wife, Sheila of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Steve Seale, Greg Seale, Emmy Majure, Lundy Brantley, Andrew Brantley, Terrell Brantley, Lisa Myers, Paig Parish, Dacie Brantley, and Kelsie Pope; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Sybil Flake of Moss Point. Serving as pallbearers were Greg Seale, Paig Parish, Lundy Brantley, Andrew Brantley, Terrell Brantley, Matt Myers, Mark Majure, and Colby Pope.
