ANTHONY MILLERMrs. Smith, 86, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Sandtown community. She formerly worked at Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia. She owned and operated Smith's Day Care for a number of years and was affectionately known to many as Mamaw Helen. Mrs. Smith was a member of Sandtown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beck Smith; son, Jerry Smith and great-grandchild, Baby Aubern Watkins. Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary Smith (James E.) of Union; daughter-in-law, Beverly Smith of Philadelphia; sons, Derrell Smith (Elizabeth), Tim Smith, Anthony Lewis (Pam), all of Philadelphia, David Lewis (Betty) of Nanih Waiya and Timothy Lewis of Shreveport, LA; stepsons, Earl Smith (Sybil) and Kenneth Smith (Joyce), all of Suqualena; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Pallbearers:  Mike Feasel, Stuart Branning, Brock Cook, Brent Cook, Brad Copeland and Rex Branning.
