BYRD HILLMAN  Mr. Pullin, 89, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at J. G. Alexander Nursing Center in Union.   He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Dixon community.  He was a retired farmer.  Mr. Pullin was a member of Pine Grove Church of God in the Dixon community.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served during World War II.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Pullin; parents, Carl and Lena Pullin; three sons, Glen Pullin, Quinton Pullin and Carl Pullin.   Survivors include six daughters, Linda Thaggard (Pat), Peggy Hollingsworth (Kenneth) and Gail Pullin, all of Philadelphia, Dianne Hollingsworth (Melvin), Nancy Rowzee (Ray) , Deborah Lucroy (Roy), all of Decatur; 22 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; three daughters-in-law, Rose Pullin and Barbara Pullin Belk, both of Union and Sue Pullin of Philadelphia; one sister, Pauline Gomillion of Union; one brother, Raymond Pullin of Union and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
