Jack Davis

GRAVESIDE SERVICES:  MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 20112:00 P. M.LYNVILLE CEMETERY KEMPER COUNTY   Mr. Davis, 83, of Preston, MS., died Friday, August 5, 2011 at his residence.   He was born and reared in the Lynville Community of Kemper County and made his home in New Orleans, LA., Miami, FL., and Charlotte, NC. for a number of years before moving back to the Lynville Community 28 years ago.  Mr. Davis was a member of Lynville United Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict.   He was preceded in death by his brother, Luke Davis and two sisters, Rachel Culvahouse and Cecil Massey,   Survivors include two sisters, Ruth McHann of Starkville, Kathleen Amick of Louisville, KY and one brother, Norman Davis of Preston.
