JOHN MILES Ms. Monk, 68, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.   She was born and reared in Neshoba County and had made her home in Scott County for the past 50 years.  Ms. Monk was a member of Golden Grove Church of God in Scott County.   Survivors include her daughters, Rita Wilkerson of Lake, Ann Derrick of Pulaski, Lisa Cowart of Sebastopol, and Josie Williams of Philadelphia; sons, Bobby Monk of Sebastopol, Earnest Monk of Sebastopol, and Roger Monk of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie May of Philadelphia and Carolyn Vance of Philadelphia; and brother, Hubert Fortenberry of Philadelphia.
