CHRIS VOWELL Mr. Parker, 77, of Noxapater, MS died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Winston County. Mr. Parker was Pentecostal by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his daughters, Sue Stevens of Philadelphia, Linda Parker and Judy Alexander, both of Noxapater and Donna Parker of Vaiden; sons, Billy Parker of Ethel, Wendell Parker of Philadelphia and Jimmy Parker of Preston; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Collins of Noxapater, Brenda Gentry of Carrollton, AL, Sandra Leach of Brandon, Teresa Thrasher of Jackson and a brother, Keith Parker of Philadelphia. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Parker; son, Bud Parker and daughter, Joy Lynn Parker.
