ERVIN MOONEYMr. Singleton, 77, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born and reared in Philadelphia and had made his home in the Hope Community for the past 41 years.  He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company after many years. Mr. Singleton was a member of New Pleasantdale Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jewel Singleton of Philadelphia; daughters, Terri Thomas of Mobile, AL, Sharon Gilmer and Christy Baysinger both of Philadelphia; sons, Billy Clyde Singleton and Bobby Ray Singleton both of Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother, Dewayne Clair of Edinburg.  He was preceded in death by sisters, Iva Bell Battle and Patricia Ann Collins; and brother, Bill Singleton.
