JERRY JONES Mr. Griffin, 81, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.   He was a native of the Cleveland Community of Kemper County and after retirement resided in Kemper County for 28 years.  He had lived the past two years in Brandon.  He was retired from A&P Grocery where he served as manager at several different stores throughout the southeast.  He managed Bill's Dollar Store in DeKalb, and served as court bailiff and poll watcher for Kemper County for a number of years.  Mr. Griffin was a member and deacon of Bluff Springs Baptist Church and was a member of the Men's Breakfast Club in Kemper County.   Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Griffin of Brandon; daughter, Delores Griffin of Brandon; sons, Dennis Griffin and his wife, Cindy of Ridgeland and Mike Griffin and his wife, Mary of DeKalb; and grandsons, Brian Griffin and his wife, Tiffany of Washington, D.C. and Cody Griffin of Wichita, Kansas.
