CHRIS VOWELL  Rubye Steiger was born in Grenada and had made her home in Philadelphia since 1955.  Mrs. Steiger was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church which was a very important part of her life.  She was retired owner of the Ellis Theatre.    Survivors include daughters, Linda Steiger and Kathy Ridout both of Philadelphia; son, Bill Steiger of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Rachel Hobart of Avon; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelly J. Steiger; parents, Vardaman Fox Clanton and Georgia Carver Clanton; and sister, Ree Prewitt.  She was under the care of Quality Hospice.  Memorials may be made to: First Presbyterian Church533 Main StreetPhiladelphia, MS  39350
