M.INTERMENT:  CEDARLAWN CEMETERY Joe was born March 28, 1921 and was a life-long resident of Philadelphia.  He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and a veteran of the United States Navy.  He owned and operated Turner Hardware and Furniture Company for many years with his father and brothers.  Joe loved the Lord and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia where he served as an elder.  He was an avid golfer and long-time member of Philadelphia Country Club where he enjoyed spending time with his golf buddies.   Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary M. (Mac) Turner, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Turner, Sr., a sister, Janie Hartsfield, and brothers, Wilbur and Frank.   He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Ken (Patrice), Tom (Molly), and Dan; brother, Walter; grandchildren Ben, Lauren, Mali, Dustin, Kip, Joey, Beckett, Paul and Mary Alice; and great-grandson, Cole Turner.   The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Neshoba County Nursing Home who took such loving care of Joe during his last years.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
