DAVID RAY HARDY Mrs. Hardy, age 81, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home in Philadelphia. She was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Beatline Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Beatline Community. Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by two husbands, James Kelton Flint in 1961 and Oren J Hardy in 2007; and one grandson, Richard Wade Hardy in 2001. She was the last survivor from the four boys and six girls born to Henry Deargie and Nannie Livingston Boler of the Linwood Community. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon K. Thomas and husband, Gary; three sons, Travis Hardy and wife, Dawn, Greg Hardy and Dianne, and Mike Hardy and wife, Brenda all of Philadelphia; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Marsha Hodges and husband, Gary and their three children, Darren, Douglas and Mara of Collinsville, David Thomas and son, Andrew of Philadelphia, Kim Faurot and husband, Matt and their two children, Hannah and Kailey of Huntsville, AL, Gina Norton and husband, BJ and their two children, Wade and Garrett of Philadelphia, Lee Hardy and wife, Lyndsey and their son, James of Philadelphia, and Tyler Hardy also of Philadelphia, along with longtime best friend, Sue Nell Bates of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers are David Thomas, Lee Hardy, Tyler Hardy, Matt Faurot, BJ Norton, Gary Hodges, and Andrew Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are all of Mrs. Hardy's great-grandchildren. To some she was known as Bobbie B, others she was known as Mrs. Bobbie, Mrs. Hardy, or Mrs. Oren Hardy. To her family she was mother, grandmother, MawMaw, or Lelore (a name given to her by five year old Wade), all of which meant love.
