She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  She loved working outside, knitting, canning, and taking care of her grandkids.  Mrs. Branning attended West Philadelphia Baptist Church.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester "Bud" Branning in 1989; and a granddaughter, April Branning. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Knight of Union; sons, Lester Branning and his wife, Beth of Preston, Rex Branning and his wife, Debra of Philadelphia and Bruce Branning and his wife, Sonya of Union; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are grandsons, Scott Branning, Shane Knight, Chancy Branning, Clint Knight, Tommy Knight, Barry Knight, Tyler Gilmer, Nick Branning, Dustin Branning, Josh Fry, and Michael Joiner.
