STUART PURVIS Mr. Fulton, 76, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Bond Community. He attended The University of Southern Mississippi where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was a retired teacher and taught business education at Moselle, Bond, Neshoba Central, Choctaw Central and Philadelphia High School. He substitute taught at other tribal schools after retirement. Mr. Fulton was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church where he had served as deacon and assistant song leader. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Fulton of Philadelphia; daughters, Laura Leslie Stewart and her husband, Scott of Madison and Kyra Hardy and her husband, Shane of Millport, AL; son, Todd Fulton of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Rachel Stewart, Anna Claire Stewart, Hannah Kate Stewart, Ally Grace Hardy, and Lea Kathryn Hardy; step-daughter, Rita Vance of Brandon; step-grandchildren, Casey Vance of Conehatta and Dana Davis of New Orleans, LA; and step-great-grandchild, Kaleigh Vance. Mr. Fulton was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Ruby Fulton; first wife, Janice Fulton; sister, Helen Nance; brothers, Sam Fulton and Bernon Fulton; and granddaughter, Meagan Alford.
