MARK MAYO Christopher, 11, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his residence in Philadelphia. He was a native of Little Rock, AR and lived in Carthage for several years before moving to Neshoba County two years ago. He attended Neshoba Central School. Christopher had cerebral palsy since birth, but he never quit smiling despite his lengthy illness. His lack of speech did not refrain him from his ability to communicate with others. He was able to go to Disney World through Make-A-Wish Foundation for the first time last year. Christopher attended West Carthage Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Jennifer Oliver of Philadelphia; sisters, Meaghan Oliver and Betty Oliver both of Philadelphia; brother, Nicholas Ross of Brandon; maternal grandparents, Bob and Jackie Ross of Brandon; paternal grand-parents, Gerald and Ruby Oliver of Philadelphia; great-grandfather, O.C. Ross of Sterlington, LA; great-grandmother, Toni Cram of Oxford, AL; and aunts, Wanda Crum of Gardendale, AL, Heather Gagnon of Oxford, AL, and Ganna Ford of Carthage.
