M.INTERMENT:  BEECH SPRINGS CEMETERY Mrs. Bassett, 82, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Union.   She was a native of Caldwell Parish, LA and had been a longtime resident of the Neville community of Neshoba County.  She was Baptist by faith.    Mrs. Bassett was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Bassett and sons, Huey Lee Bassett and Larry Glen Bassett.   Survivors include daughters, Glendia Young, and her husband, Arvin of Baton Rouge, LA, Mary Baysinger and her husband, Mac of Philadelphia, Edna Thomas of Union, Betty Crain and her husband, Sammy of Pineville, LA, and Freida Bassett and her husband, James of Kosciusko; sons, Wayne Bassett of San Diego, CA, Alford "Sal" Bassett and his wife, Beverly of Union, and Chris Bassett and his wife, Lee of Pineville, LA; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
