MIKE BENTLEY Mr. Bassett, 50, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in Collins, MS. He was born in San Diego, CA and was a longtime resident of Panama City, FL.  He worked in repair in heating and air conditioning maintenance.  Mr. Bassett was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Bassett and brother, Layton Beall Bassett, Jr.  Survivors include his sons, Robby Bassett and Dustin Bassett both of Panama City, FL; two grandchildren; father, Layton Bassett (Vickie) of The Villages, FL; sisters, Kimberly Ann Warner of Middleburg, FL and Beverly Jo Bentley (Mike) of Collins, MS; brother, James Edward Bassett (Debbie) of Falls City, NE and a number of nieces and nephews.
